These terms cover your use of Lane4 Stride (“Lane4”), a service for finding jobs on employers’ own careers sites and tracking your job search. Please read them with the Privacy Policy, which explains how your information is handled.
Lane4 is provided by to be provided: the legal name of the business operating Lane4. By creating an account or using Lane4 you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use Lane4.
Lane4 lets you:
Lane4 is a tool for your own job search. It isn’t an employer, a recruiter, a staffing agency or a job board that accepts applications on employers’ behalf, and it doesn’t guarantee interviews, offers or employment.
Lane4 finds postings by reading employers’ own careers sites and job systems. Lane4 is not the employer and has no part in any employer’s hiring decisions.
Lane4 uses AI models (from Anthropic and OpenAI) to read postings, summarize your stated preferences, estimate how well a posting fits you, explain that estimate, and learn from your feedback which postings to rank higher. How this uses your information is described in the Privacy Policy.
Don’t use Lane4 to:
You keep ownership of what you put in Lane4: your notes, tracker records, preferences and resumes. You give Lane4 permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy, including through the service providers it lists. Lane4 doesn’t claim ownership of your content and doesn’t use it to advertise or to train AI models.
You’re responsible for having the right to store what you upload, including information about other people. You can export your content at any time from Settings.
Lane4’s software, design and branding belong to Lane4 and its licensors. You may use Lane4 for your own job search under these terms; nothing here transfers ownership to you. Job postings belong to the employers that published them.
We work to keep Lane4 available and accurate, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, outages, or problems with employer sites or the providers Lane4 relies on. Features may change as the product develops. If we remove a paid feature, we’ll tell you in advance.
You can stop using Lane4 at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk; where appropriate we’ll tell you and give you a chance to export your data first.
Lane4 is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, Lane4 makes no warranties beyond those stated in these terms, including about job postings, employer sites, or AI-generated analysis.

These terms are governed by to be provided: governing law and venue.
